Draft — professional review required

Privacy Policy

How SoundSend handles account, audio, device, and service information.

Effective date
July 21, 2026
Status
Pre-launch draft
This document is a working draft, not legal advice or a guarantee of compliance. Obtain qualified legal review before launch.

Scope and status of this draft

This draft describes the intended privacy practices for SoundSend, a service operated by Christian Tadros. It must be reviewed against the production app, Supabase configuration, App Store disclosures, and applicable law before publication.

SoundSend is designed as a native iOS soundboard, sound library, discovery, and Apple Messages sharing experience. Features described as upcoming may not be available at launch.

Information SoundSend may process

  • Account information, such as an authentication identifier and email address, when account features are used.
  • Audio files, titles, organization choices, SoundBoards, and related metadata that you upload or create.
  • Public profile or community information only if public community features are introduced and you choose to publish.
  • Basic technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as app version, device platform, request logs, and error information.
  • Support communications and information you choose to include in a support request.
  • Analytics or diagnostics only if they are enabled in a released version and disclosed in the app and this policy.

Private uploads and public publishing

Personal uploads are intended to remain private unless you take a separate, clear action to publish or share them through a feature that supports public access. Adding a sound to a personal SoundBoard does not by itself make that sound public.

If community publishing launches, SoundSend should present the audience and publishing state before content becomes public. Public content may be reviewed, limited, removed, or made unavailable under the Community Guidelines and Acceptable Use Policy.

How information may be used

  • Provide authentication, storage, playback, organization, synchronization, sharing, and support features.
  • Deliver privately uploaded audio through the appropriate SoundSend sharing flow when you choose to send it.
  • Maintain local-first playback and caching, improve reliability, and prevent abuse or security incidents.
  • Moderate public community content if and when community publishing is available.
  • Comply with lawful requests and enforce SoundSend policies.

Apple Messages

When you use Apple Messages integration, SoundSend prepares the player or audio format you select and passes the message through the relevant Apple messaging experience. Apple may process message delivery under its own terms and privacy practices.

The production team must verify what metadata, links, or hosted audio are included in SoundSend Player and Universal Audio messages before this section is finalized.

Local storage, caching, and cloud services

SoundSend may keep downloaded packs, playback-ready audio, indexes, preferences, and cached files on your device to support responsive and local-first playback. Removing a download, clearing app data, or deleting the app may remove locally stored copies, subject to iOS behavior.

SoundSend is expected to use Supabase-backed authentication and storage for cloud-supported features. Supabase and other infrastructure providers process information on SoundSend’s behalf according to configured service terms and data-processing arrangements. The production vendor list and regions must be verified before launch.

Sharing with service providers and third parties

SoundSend may share information with providers that supply authentication, storage, hosting, diagnostics, customer support, abuse prevention, or similar operational services. SoundSend does not need to sell personal information to provide the product; the launch team must confirm and accurately disclose any legally defined sale or sharing practices.

Content you publish publicly or intentionally send to another person is available to the audience you choose. Third-party services, including Apple services, operate under their own privacy terms.

Retention and deletion

SoundSend should retain account and uploaded content only for as long as needed to provide the service, satisfy legitimate operational or legal needs, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Specific retention periods must be documented before launch.

Account-deletion instructions and any in-app deletion path must be verified before publication. Until then, deletion requests should be directed to support@soundsend.app. Deletion may not remove copies already delivered to other people, public content quoted or saved by others, or records SoundSend must retain for legal or security reasons.

Security

SoundSend intends to use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information it processes. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure. Production access controls, bucket policies, signed-delivery behavior, and incident procedures require review before launch.

Children’s privacy

SoundSend is intended for people who are at least 13 years old. The service is not intended to collect personal information from children in a manner that would require unimplemented parental-consent procedures. Age-gating, App Store age rating, and any community access rules must be reviewed before launch.

Your choices and rights

  • Choose whether to upload audio, create SoundBoards, send content, or publish content when publishing becomes available.
  • Manage downloaded content and local app permissions through SoundSend and iOS controls where supported.
  • Request access, correction, deletion, or another applicable privacy right using the contact below.
  • Opt out of optional analytics or communications if those features are introduced and applicable controls are provided.

Changes to this policy

SoundSend may update this policy as the product, providers, or legal requirements change. The published policy should show an effective date and provide additional notice when required.
